Let your heart bleed for Hewlett-Packard's publicity department. It has a Story To Tell at 3GSM, and so it is taking Key Journalists and Analysts to Cannes on the 13th of February.

Your network Sniffer picked up a conversation between one of these KJs and his travel adviser:

KJ: I'll be getting in Sunday: flight AB1234 Depart Gatwick: 12.34 and arrive Marseilles: 16.66 - then taxi pick up at airport to hotel in Cannes.
TA: Taxi from Marseilles to Cannes? Don't forget the seasick pills! French taxi drivers, the Alpes Maritimes...
KJ: Argh! I missed the Marseilles bit. Is that far?
TA: About a three hour drive, maybe less...
KJ: !
TA: I'd take the train. Trouble is, there's no train until 20.00. Takes two hours...
KJ: I'd miss dinner!
TA: No, you have dinner in Marseilles, at the station...
KJ: But I'm meeting the HP executives that evening... ah, I begin to see how the plan works!
TA: You could ask for a helicopter...
