Mobile phone user was actually shooting - sent to jail
by Tim Richardson | posted on 14 March 2005
A man has been jailed for five years for firing a miniature gun disguised as a mobile phone handset. Two bullets from the miniature weapon were fired last July in a street in Nottingham.
Manchester-based Leon Ellison, 26, admitted firing the weapon but said he did it after being stabbed in the back after a late-night scuffle. Nottingham Crown Court was told that Ellison adopted a "gangster-style pose" before firing the weapon, reports the BBC.
