Fancy spending fifty quid on a pen? With 128 meg?
by Guy Kewney | posted on 14 May 2004
OK, it's just a USB memory dongle. As a pen, it's pretty spendy. As a memory chip, it's about right, and as a USB connection, it's version 2.0.

And it's just so cute, I thought we ought to run the picture

The only real problem is, if someone pinches this pen, you lose your memory.
PNY Technologies says: "Pocket-sized, these attractive ballpoint pens with attached USB2.0 flash drives enable you to transfer large files from one device to another quickly and easily. Both models also come with a replacement ink cartridges."
They then go rather over the top: "In typical James Bond style, with a simple twist your flash drive is revealed ... " and at this point a discreet veil, perhaps, should be drawn, as the language gets more and more colourful.
