For those who thought the idea of banning camera-phones from work was far-fetched, here's the story of them being banned from sports centres.

People, normally, love taking pictures of athletes. Normally, the athletes love it, too. Can you imagine a school sports day without proud parents taking pictures of their children?

In the Welsh county of Powys, they not only can imagine it, but think it's a great idea to ban this. According to a report from the BBC "Mobile phones and digital cameras are being banned from all Powys' sports and leisure centres to protect children."

In exceptional circumstances, permission will be given for people to take photographs if they fill in a form and stick to the council's guidelines.
